New EdTech Marketplace Startup That Makes Finding Knowledge More Efficient Than Ever

With the help of artificial intelligence (AI), now you can learn more by paying less in OhMyClass’s learning community

Launching next Friday, Mochy is proud to announce a new EdTech platform OhMyClass that connects teaching businesses to learners. OhMyClass is Hong Kong’s first online marketplace dedicated to last-minute enrolment and bulk course purchase. With the incorporation of AI (e.g. neural network technologies), anyone can create, find, enrol in and give star ratings to classes. OhMyClass covers a range of courses, from fun-based to professional-focused, from kid to elderly focused, from virtual to offline, from hour-long webinar to 2-year-long program. Available in both English and Traditional Chinese.

So, what took the team to build the platform for a whole year?

• Learners (“Students”): Students can search and enrol in classes, use filters to easily narrow down the classes available by selecting key attributes (e.g. location, CEF reimbursability, CPD hours, target audience, star ratings, duration, price, etc.) the preferred course needs to have. Students can also raise questions publicly on each listing before enrolling (just like on Amazon), or even have their questions sent to other Students who has previously attended the same class.
• Providers (“Teachers”): Any course providers can sign up to be OhMyClass’s Teachers, explore the backend’s functionalities (e.g. minimum enrolment quantity) and customization (e.g. SEO, URL) that can help enhance market exposure and course registration rates. Teachers looking to improve their services can also join the “Customer Experience Assessment program” (similar to the concept of secret customer), where the platform uses AI to screen the most suitable Students to free lesson, in return for their insight report.
